Homebuyer Education - Home Stretch Workshops
The key to buying a home is
information. Purchasing a home is one of the biggest investments you will
ever make. Take your first step to unlock the secrets to homeownership
by attending a Home Stretch workshop. Home Stretch workshops make it easy.
The classes walk you through each step of the homebuying process from
budgeting through completing a loan application all the way to closing
on the sale of your new home.
The 8-hour Home Stretch course and materials were developed by housing
professionals. Home Stretch is required to qualify for many affordable
mortgage loans and downpayment assistance programs. Classes are $45 per
household. (Costs vary at some locations) Fees cover course materials,
a manual and a certificate of completion.

Unless noted, all classes are held at the American Dream Services office on the second floor of
Plaza Latina, 925 Payne Avenue in Saint Paul.
